Enhancing NextGEN Gallery
NextGEN Gallery is a very popular way to display images in WordPress. There are a number of plugins which enhance NextGEN. NextGEN Gallery Sidebar Widget allows you to display thumbnails linking to your NextGEN galleries in your sidebar.
One thing you should know first. For this to work correctly – and by that I mean if you want a person who clicks on a thumbnail to be directed to the corresponding gallery – you have to have a page set up for each gallery. If you don’t already have a page configured for each gallery you will need to set that up before putting this plugin into use.

Finally. Just added the CSS to the main stylesheet of the theme. Difficulty was in trying to determine which div and class to use. Source code confusing.
I got the links working in NextGen Gallery Sidebar Widget but would like to edit the CSS for the images so they have a border/padding, etc. Haven’t a clue where to find the CSS. Can you help? Big thanks!
I’ve never looked for that, but I would expect all the code to be in the plugin directory. to wp-content/plugins and look for the directory for NextGen Gallery Sidebar.
