If you are in a galaxy far far away and want my help with your site we can make that happen as well.
It’s shocking, but not everyone lives in Fort Collins. (I know, right?) If you are in some far away land I can possibly still help you out. Contact me and let me know what your needs are. If I can assist you I’ll give you an idea of how long it will take, the cost and what I need to make it happen.
To assist you from a distance I will need at least an administrative level login for your site. Depending on what needs to be done I may also require FTP access and CPanel access. For security reasons you should create a WordPress login and FTP account only for me, that way when I’m done you can remove them if you so desire, thus preventing me from coming back in. If I require CPanel access I’ll have to use your password but once I’m finished you can change it to keep me out.
Of course if you want continued assistance from me you shouldn’t do those things – but I stand by my commitment of you having total control of your site and not being obligated to me for anything in the future.
I can and will support your WordPress installation remotely. Payment is made via PayPal. Payment for the estimated hours of work must be made in advance. Please do not pay me until we’ve discussed what must be done and I’ve agreed to do it.
What I must know before agreeing to assist you remotely:
- Exactly what you need me to accomplish. Not simply the task, the intention & desired result as well.
- Your time line, when must the work be completed.
- The URL of your website(s) and any required logon information.
I will do my best to accurately give you an estimate of how long it will take so there are no billing surprises. I will also not work beyond the billable hours I quoted you without getting your approval first.
There is always a one hour ($85) minimum charge for any remote service for a new customer. I will send you a PayPal invoice for additional time spend supporting your WordPress installation billed at $65 per 1 hour increments if I go over the estimated amount of time you have already paid for.
Once I’ve given you an estimate on the time required I’ll send you a PayPal invoice. Work will begin after payment is received.
Additional remote support in the future will be billed at $65 per 1 hour increments.
When I logon to your site the first thing I will do is make sure you have a good plugin for backing up your databases. The second thing I will do is create a backup of your databases and WordPress filesystem and save it locally. Then I will get to work on the task you need done.
Keep in mind this: While I will exercise all caution with your website Fort Collins WordPress Help is not responsible for lost information or content nor for the total destruction of your WordPress installation. If I do break it I will attempt to fix it on my time, not on your time. But it may not be repairable. This is why my first action is always to back up your databases and file system. I don’t set out to break things but the reality is that it can happen.
